Michael Rozon was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. As his career in drumming, writing, music production, recording, mixing, and mastering grew, Rozon made the move to Los Angeles, California in 1987. Rozon has owned and operated a few different studios over the past 30 years and currently works out of a studio called Speedsemenclovefactory at the Schecter Guitars factory .

Rozon’s early influences as a drummer provided a strong foundation in percussion and rhythm. He has a strong affinity for the pedal steel guitar, his favorite instrument these days . Michael has also played guitar, bass, drums, vibraphone, keyboards and lap steel guitar on various records he has produced .

At home behind an analog console or working in the digital realm, Michael is constantly renovating his  ideology and philosophy concerning recording and production. Rozon says he realized the amount of creativity that went into forming and manipulating the music was just as important to him as the skills required to play the music . It was not long after releasing some recordings of his own music that he began receiving requests from others to record their music, solve musical problems, and help realize and exceed their visions .

Rozon continues to utilize his skill set in music production and artist development. His recent production of the Grammy-nominated MINISTRY record, “AmeriKKKant,” was released in March of 2018.
